The Lonely Green

This is my second most popular photograph on here :)

This image was taken in the winter of 2007 I picked this moment as a good photographic opportunity as I thought that the image told the story of exactly what was occurring.

As I captured this image I discovered that the picture was very atmospheric as the steam coming of the train went well with the winter surroundings.

I also thought that the guard looked very characteristic to the story of the photograph as he was going about his duties sending the train. His stance and gesture gives the audience a clear description of his part in the image.
